PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SERVICE BEFORE USING OUR MOBILE APPLICATION RedGreen (THE 'APP') OR THE WEBSITE redgreenapp.com (THE 'SITE'). BY USING OUR APP, OR ACCESSING ANY PAGE ON OUR SITE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE CURRENT VERSION OF THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND PRIVACY POLICY.
1. General
Welcome to the RedGreen website and App, provided by Todor Ivanov ("Todor Ivanov", "RedGreen", "we", "us", "our"). RedGreen is a meal-tracking application for restrictive diets such as keto, paleo, carnivore, Whole30, AIP, low-FODMAP, Mediterranean and custom user-defined diets. It identifies items in meal photos and tells you whether each item fits your selected diet (collectively, the website and App may be referred to as the "Service").
2. Acceptance of the Terms
We ask that you review and abide by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any other terms and conditions that may appear on the Service from time to time. Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these Terms, and we reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. When we make revisions, we will post them on the Site with an updated "Last updated" date, and they will be effective upon posting. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE SERVICE AFTER THE POSTING OF ANY REVISIONS SHALL BE CONSIDERED YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE MODIFIED TERMS. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is offered and available to users who are 13 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with Todor Ivanov and meet all eligibility requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not access or use the Service.
The Service is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use is prohibited.
3. Health and Nutrition Disclaimer
RedGreen is a tracking tool, not a medical, nutritional or dietary service. The diet definitions, on-plan verdicts, AI-generated food identifications and any calorie or macro estimates shown in the App are provided for general informational purposes only and may be incomplete or incorrect. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical, nutritional or dietary advice. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing or relying on any diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are breastfeeding, or are managing allergies or intolerances. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information shown in the Service.
4. What We Own
Unless otherwise noted, all material and services available on the Site or through the App, and all materials provided by or through the Service — its licensors, contributors, employees or agents — including but not limited to software, text, documentation, "look and feel", layout, photographs, graphics, audio, video, files, images and all derivative works thereof (collectively, the "Content") are the intellectual property of Todor Ivanov, RedGreen, our licensors and contributors. The Content is protected by copyright, trademark, trade-dress and other applicable intellectual property laws.
5. Our License to You
Subject to these Terms, RedGreen grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service via a user account, only to the extent necessary to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms. This license does not permit any commercial use, modification or reverse engineering of the Service. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by RedGreen.
6. Use of the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service without notice. Access to parts of the Service may be restricted to registered users.
To access most features, you create an account by providing an email address or by signing in through a supported identity provider. You agree that the information you provide is accurate, and your account is governed by our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorised access.
7. Subscriptions, Free Trials and Refunds
RedGreen offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription ("Pro"). Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and may include a free trial period. The trial converts into a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
All subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple or Google. You can review, manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the subscription settings of your App Store or Play Store account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by Apple's and Google's respective policies. We do not directly process payments and cannot issue refunds for subscriptions billed by them; you must request a refund through Apple or Google.
8. AI-Generated Output
The App uses third-party AI providers to identify foods in meal photos and to match items against diets. AI output is best-effort and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You can review and correct any item the App identifies, and you are responsible for verifying that the final logged data and the on-plan verdict reflect what you actually ate. Where AI output is uncertain or wrong, the App's verdict may be wrong as well.
9. Content You Provide
You retain ownership of all data and content you submit through the Service, including meal photos, food entries, custom diets, weight entries and feedback. By submitting content, you grant RedGreen a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to any content you submit. All such data is subject to our Privacy Policy.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (i) misuse the Service, including by attempting to interfere with its normal operation; (ii) attempt to access other users' accounts or data; (iii) reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App; (iv) use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights; or (v) use automated means to access or scrape the Service.
11. Geographic Restrictions
RedGreen is operated from Bulgaria and is not intended for use where prohibited by local law. You are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
12. Feedback
Any feedback, ideas or suggestions you submit through the Service may be used by RedGreen for any purpose, including improving features, without compensation to you. This does not change how your personal data is handled, which remains governed by our Privacy Policy.
13. Copyright Notices
If you believe any content in the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at support@redgreenapp.com. We may remove content we find infringes intellectual property rights.
14. Accuracy of Information
We do not guarantee that all information shown in the Service is complete, reliable or up to date. Diet definitions, food data and AI-generated output may change or be revised at any time. Use the Service at your own risk.
15. External Links
The Service may include links to third-party sites. These are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for their content or data practices.
16. Security
We implement reasonable security measures, but we cannot guarantee 100% protection against data breaches. By using the Service, you accept that risk.
17. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED OUTPUT OR ON-PLAN VERDICTS.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND (b) USD 100.
18. Dispute Resolution
You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at support@redgreenapp.com. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, it will be resolved by binding arbitration through the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sofia, Bulgaria, under its standard arbitration rules. These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under your local law.
19. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either party. You may terminate by deleting your account from within the App. RedGreen may terminate or suspend access without notice if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way we reasonably consider harmful. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability and dispute resolution survive termination.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RedGreen regarding the Service.
21. Severability
If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
22. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept them. Updates to the dispute resolution section will not apply retroactively to disputes that arose before the change.
